B.F.A. Interior Design, Art Institute of Seattle

Working in the field of Hospitality Design for the past 24 years, Stephanie aims to see the beauty in a narrative driven design. Enticing stories are present everywhere, but how you dive into them is where the art of design truly comes from. She wants to capture a space, build the interior architecture, the texture, the contrasts, and forms that make spaces all come together into one great field of beauty. Over her career, she has specialized in resorts, hotels, casinos, bars and restaurant all over the US. Beyond design, she enjoys guiding and mentoring the next generation of designers to push the boundaries of design and to seek the create details that make projects memorable.

There are 10 solutions to every problem!
Pattern is situational! I like to tailor pattern to the project and to the narrative I'm working with.
1. Be present. Ideas and inspiration come from everywhere so listen and observe. 2. Never be afraid to fail. Always pick yourself up and try again!

In the design world, I could teach custom carpet and area rug construction/design techniques. Personally, I could and have taught snowboarding!
